Who Were the Spit Enz

The Spit Enz were a Pop/New Wave Band from New Zealand.  They were originally a folk rock band but made their mark in the early 1980s as part of the New Wave scene.

The Split Enz were one of the first new wave bands to adopt the use of wild costumes and staging as part of their act.  This trend was followed later by the likes of Boy George and Men Without Hats among others.

John Foxx is the stage name of successful British musician Dennis Leigh.

During his long career, Foxx has been the front man for Tiger Lily and Ultravox!, he also had a lengthy solo career and is currently supporting an album as "John Foxx and Math."

He continues to live and work in England.

Who Were the Romantics

The Romantics were an American Punk/Pop Crossover band from Detroit, Michigan who had a number one hit with 1980's "What I Like about You."

Known for their uptempo songs and dynamic stage show, the Romantics released a total of five albums but never again achieved the success of "What I Like About You."  Their follow up song, "Talking in Your Sleep" topped at #3 on the US pop charts but did top the dance chart.
